A Wonderful Welcome Back!

Thank you to the parents and volunteers who made this week a special time to reconnect with our Silver Creek Elementary community. The welcome back BBQ on Monday certainly provided us with a fun and relaxed way to meet, play, and enjoy a delicious meal in this beautiful setting.

For Orange Shirt Day at the school, students acknowledged and reflected on the learning we have done this week regarding residential schools. The students wore orange to acknowledge this day and Miss Lori, with the support of a parent team of cooks, provided a hot lunch of taco soup and bannock. It was delicious! Our students were very appreciative and demonstrated their gratitude with heartfelt compliments.
